Serving: 3 Tbsp

Makes 8 servings Prep time: 1 min Cooking time: 15 min

Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries, washed

  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds

Directions

  1. Add the berries to a microwave-safe dish and warm until softened, about 1.5 minutes.

  2. Transfer the berries to a blender (or use an immersion blender) to liquify.

  3. Pour blended berries into a sealable container and stir in the chia seeds until well combined.

  4. Place in the fridge for at least an hour. The jam will continue to thicken as it cools. Enjoy!

Chia jam can be added on whole grain toast, in PB&J, swirled into Greek yogurt, on whole grain waffles... the possibilities are endless!

Notes:
  • Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

  • Strawberries can be swapped for raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, cherries, peaches, apricots, kiwi, or pineapple. Fresh or frozen.

  • For more nutrients, blend a handful of spinach into the strawberries.
