Instant Pot Breakfast Quinoa

Prep time: 5 min Cooking time: 1 min


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked quinoa, rinsed

  • 2 1/4 cups water

  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamon

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • Top with 2 Tbsp unsalted nuts (or hemp hearts)

  • Optional: 1/4 cup fresh berries, banana slices, 1 Tbsp Chia seeds


Directions

1. Combine all the ingredients in the Instant Pot. Stir to incorporate. Then, cover and seal.


2. Select high pressure and 1 minute cook time. Let the pressure naturally release for 10 minutes.


3. Carefully remove the lid. Fluff the quinoa. Serve with toppings of your choice. Enjoy.
